Anyone interested in geology or wanting an educational and special up close look at the rock formations of our eastern coastline.
Sydney is rich in limestone, variants of quartz and other interesting rocks and sediments. Come on our geology tour and experience amazing rock formations and learn how rocks form, change and what causes this over time with your UDU experienced guide and a professional geologist!
After picking you up we make our way to Cape Solander where we begin the tour on a rock slab and learn what the rocks we’re standing on a made from!
We begin a scenic walk from the starting point and across amazing rock platforms, where we experience a range of different rocks, interesting caves and rock formations and you begin to understand the environmental factors that play such a large role in the geology of our coastal regions.
Along the way we will see different types of rock, and also learn how temperature and rock pressures will continue to change geology in the future.
UDU knows that serious rock lovers like to have some downtime too! so we make time for swimming and rock trivia with some great prizes at the end.
