For many years UDU has operated around the amazing plant life and eco-systems in the natural landscapes around us. We have enjoyed learning more and more about plants along the way and want to share these great experiences with you. Plants come with many uses, and nearly all the food we eat comes directly and indirectly from plant life. Come along on an UDU Botanical experience and learn about the many plants and their uses.
THE EXPERIENCE
From the pickup point we learn about some native plants we may experience along the way, and some rare treasures to look out for, from our professional Botanist!
When we arrive at the National Park we begin our nature walk, keeping our eyes open and learning about all the flora and fauna around us.
We then stop for a gourmet lunch and settle into the tranquil nature around us.
Those who are interested in different plants to use for food can try our bush tucker options, where we take a note from our cultural past and sample some real aboriginal bush tucker!
With more beautiful plant life and so much to learn about along the way we consider all the different types of plants that our fellow explorers are interested in and try to tailor the experience so that everyone gets a better idea of the plant species they are most interested in.
